Chris has been active in dogs since the mid 1970s when I got my first afghan hound. I have exhibited in conformation in the United States and
Canada and done obedience and lure coursing in the US. I was one of the first individuals to be involved in developing and holding lure
coursing trials. I have been a licensed AKC judge since 1998 and am currently approved in the United States for Afghans, Rhodesian
Ridgebacks, Salukis, and Whippets as well as Junior Showmanship. I have judged across the United States, in Canada and the Saluki
Specialty of New South Wales in Australia. I am an active member of numerous dog clubs and related organizations having formerly served as
President and Treasurer of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States and President and Vice President of the Saluki Club of
America. I am also a member of the American Whippet Club, Pointer Club of America, and Old Dominion Kennel Club. I also serve as secretary
of the 700 member Senior Conformation Judges Association and the American Canine Education Fund—the first tax exempt foundation
dedicated to improving the judging of purebred dogs. I retired from the federal government where I served as an investigator for the
Government Accountability Office (GAO) for over 30 years and currently work for H&R Block as a Senior Tax Preparer.
Stacey and Chris live in eastern Washington with 4 Whippets and 2 Pointers.
